The Inn at Turkey Hill is
family owned and operated. In 1942, Paul Eyerly, publisher of
the Bloomsburg
Press Enterprise newspaper, and his wife Libby purchased
a nearly 100 acre farm in the Turkey Hill district of Bloomsburg
(now known as Scott Township). The
original farmhouse, which was built in 1839, became their
home. As their children grew up and set out on their own, the
Eyerlys eventually moved from the farm yet always maintained
ownership.
