Art, music, and a leisurely walk on a late autumn evening – there’s no better way to begin your weekend getaway to The Inn, Farmhouse, and Brewing Co. at Turkey Hill in Bloomsburg than with the 18th annual Stroll Through the Arts in downtown Lewisburg, PA on Friday, November 4, 2016. That evening, painters, photographers, potters, and jewelers from the central Susquehanna Valley region of Pennsylvania will display their creative works in 30 shops, studios, and galleries along five blocks of Market Street in Lewisburg. You’ll enjoy the chance to meet the different artists from 6 pm until 10 pm, and begin your holiday shopping if you wish.
Do you like the challenge of an auction? The Lewisburg Arts Council will host its annual Silent Auction that evening, featuring works donated by juried artists who exhibited at their 2016 Arts Festival. Bidding is open from 6 pm until 9 pm only. If you’ll be ready to put your feet up after your stroll, you can listen to music by Backyard Ponies at the Bull Run Tap House and Royal Benson at the Towne Tavern as part of the evening’s festivities.
