Lewisburg PA Weis Center 2015 Fall Performance Lineup

Just a 30-minute drive west of our Inn is a cultural goldmine. The Weis Center for the Performing Arts in Lewisburg is Bucknell University’s acclaimed arts center, and a visit there is always a joy. The striking 1200-seat performance hall wows with its design, and is known for its excellent acoustics. And every year, the schedule of music, dance and theater is equally impressive. The Center prides itself in securing the highest quality of artists from across the world, often those who are innovators in their fields.

Cimarron. From Colombia, South America, and combining a mixture of ethnic melodies and rhythms, these musicians use harp, bandola, cuatro, bass, maracas and high-pitched voices to experiment with their rich heritage and create breathtaking music.
