It’s the largest county fair in Pennsylvania and one of top 50 fairs in the country, showcasing everything from produce to handcrafts, with traditional agricultural contests, horse races, truck and  tractor pulls, a midway with carnival rides and games, grandstand shows and live entertainment. The closing weekend features the Painted Pony Rodeo on Friday, and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin on Saturday.

And then there’s the food! Not only can you have your fill of everything from apple pies to pierogies, pulled pork to potato pancakes, and funnel cakes to fudge, but you’ll even find the PA Preferred Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Cookie/Brownie/Bar, Incredible Angel Food Cake, and Pie Baking Contests.

For a bird’s eye view of the Fair, catch the Skyride, the above-ground transit across the Midway, or climb aboard a Heritage Rotors’ helicopter and see the whole Fair from the air.
