Knoebel’s Amusement Park Joy Through The Grove

Knoebels Amusement Park brings back this spectacular drive-through experience. With more than 15 miles of string lights and 400 light-up pieces, Joy Through the Grove is the perfect way to start a holiday experience. The entire display is a mile and a half long, and
you can tune into the special radio station for this holiday music during your ride.

Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble’s Merry Christmas, George Bailey

Come to the theater for a re-created 1940’s radio broadcast complete with sound effects, singing commercials, and audience participation.  The Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble’s production of Merry Christmas, George Bailey is sure to warm the hearts of every theater participant. The theme is timeless: how a life that is thought to be ordinary turns out to be, in reality, extraordinary. Make sure you purchase tickets in advance for this holiday favorite.

Carols by Candlelight

If the holidays mean beautiful music in a contemplative setting, this two-night event will surely put you in the spirit. Carols by Candlelight features three choirs for an evening of inspiring music.
Dates: December 2 & 3, 2021 at 7pm
Location: First Presbyterian Church, 345 Market St, Bloomsburg, PA

Berwick Christmas Boulevard

On December 4, Market St. in nearby Berwick, PA is lit with thousands of lights to welcome the season. The celebration really starts on November 14 with a community tree cutting starting at 8 am in Jingle Hall. The downtown transforms into Christmas Boulevard with lights all aglow.

 Mifflinburg’s Christkindl Market

Inspired by a 700-year-old German tradition, Mifflinburg’s Christkindl Market is the oldest authentic outdoor German market in the United States. Over the course of three days visit over 100 craft vendors in outdoor huts displaying their unique gifts. Taste a variety of traditional foods like Apfel Streudel, Schnitzel, German sausages, Hungarian Goulash, Polish Haluski, soups, cookies, and candy. Watch the Lantern Parade, enjoy live musical entertainment and the marionette shows.
Dates and Times: December 9 – 10, 2021 (4:30 – 9 pm on the 9th, 10 am – 9 pm on the 10th, and 10 am – 8 pm on the 11th)
Location: Entrances at 4th & Market St, 6th & Market St, 5th & Green St, 5th & Chestnut St, Mifflinburg, PA  (Shuttle service available.)
