If you love craft beer, ring out 2016 with the New Year’s Eve Beer Dinner at the Inn, Farmhouse, and Brewing Co. at Turkey Hill in Bloomsburg, PA. The Turkey Hill Brewing Company Pub and Grille plans a ‘fermenter to table’ dinner showcasing beers that complement each of the courses prepared especially for the event. You’ll enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar from 6:00 – 6:30 pm on Saturday, December 31, 2016, followed by the five course dinner from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Head Brewmaster Donny Abraczinskas will discuss the pairings between courses.
Dinner begins with seared scallops and smoked mushrooms in an apricot sauce, paired with Vienna Lager, followed by lobster bisque with Kolsch or Industrial Union Dortmunder. Then enjoy the Abandoned Sour Series: Berliner with Sour Cherry, selected to complement a salad of mixed greens with poached pear, bleu cheese and spiced walnuts. Choose from two entrees: Asian five-spice duck breast paired with I.P.A., or grilled filet medallions with a green peppercorn Cognac sauce, paired with Sixty Shillings Scottish Ale. Conclude your feast with a Bavarian apple strudel with Stout ice cream and a Stout caramel sauce – to complement Donny’s Irish Dry Stout, of course!
Tickets are $75 per person and must be purchased in person at the Brew Pub after 4:00 pm (unfortunately, they may not be purchased by phone or mail). Tickets are limited and nonrefundable, so hurry and buy your tickets now for this annual event! Please note that the Brew Pub will not offer regular dinner service or menu items on New Year’s Eve, and will close immediately after the event.
