In its 162nd year, the largest county fair in Pennsylvania really knows how to celebrate, showcasing everything from truck and tractor pulls to demolition derbies, prize-winning produce to livestock, and horse races to handicrafts. You can admire displays of everything from antique farm equipment to garden club floral arrangements. Free Stage and Roving entertainment includes music every afternoon and evening at the Bandshell, Brunon Blaszak’s Royal Bengal Tiger Show, plus aerial and ground performances by Circus Incredible, who are 2nd, 6th, & 7th generation performers of the World Famous Wallenda circus family. The Wild West comes alive at the Rhinestone Roper Show with trick roping, knife throwing, gun spinning, fast-draw shooting, and trick horses named Gypsy Rio and Jesse James.

From Grammy Award winners to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, you’ll enjoy great musical entertainment every evening in the Grandstand. TobyMac opens Sunday, September 24, 2017, followed by Paul Anka (Monday), Martina McBride with Jo Dee Messina (Tuesday), and the band Chicago (Wednesday). The closing weekend begins Friday with Dustin Lynch with William Michael Morgan, anc concludes with Alabama as the grand finale on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

It will take days to explore the almost 1,000 vendors displaying everything from alpaca wool blankets to antique tractors, and at the Midway, there’s an all-day pass for rides! You won’t go hungry, with plenty of country fair favorites from fudge to funnel cakes and country fries to fruit pies. BBQ choices abound, plus almost anything deep-fried from pickles to PB&J. You can climb aboard a Heritage Rotors’ helicopter for a bird’s eye view of the entire Fair ($15.00), or catch the Skyride across the Midway ($5.00 one-way; $7.00 round-trip).

September is a wonderful season in Columbia County, and more than 380,000 visitors are expected at the county fair this year, so don’t wait to give us a call and book your stay – whether it’s for a day or a week, your fun’s guaranteed!
