Each of the 14 historical attractions and heritage organizations offers a unique experience, from the Knoebels Carousel Museum to the Pioneer Tunnel’s tour of an anthracite coal mine.

Several Heritage Passport sites are in Bloomsburg, PA, near The Inn, Farmhouse, and Brewing Co. at Turkey Hill. All the others are from 15 minutes to an hour’s drive away from our hotel. Additional attractions and museums on the Heritage Passport include Bill’s Old Bike Barn, the International Harvester Collectors Museum, Catawissa Quaker Meeting House, Boyd House, Montgomery House, Mooresburg School, and three Eagles Mere museums.

Passport holders visiting a location will receive a sticker to place in their passport. When they have completed at least 5 of the 14 stops, they will be awarded a limited edition embroidered commemorative patch. Passport holders who visit at least 10 of the 14 locations by October 12, 2019, will be entered to win one of five prize baskets. The Grand Prize will feature gift cards to area restaurants. Four additional runner-up prizes will include area gift cards, historical regional books, and items from several of the passport stops.

All attractions will be open during their normal hours. Many are open most or all days of the week, but a few are open only on weekends, or on Sundays. Many offer free admission; some charge small admission fees. One location, the Pioneer Tunnel, charges $18 for the combined tour of the mine and train ride.
